Yes, I do all kind of sessions for babies up to 1 year in my studio in Stanhope Gardens. I offer Newborn (1-4 weeks), Baby (3-4 months), Sitters (6-8 months) and Cake smash (1 year) photography.

Where are you located?

I'm a family and newborn photographer based in Hills District, Sydney. All newborn studio sessions are to be held in my studio in Stanhope Gardens, 2768. For all other sessions I am happy to travel up to 45 min with no extra fee.

How much does your professional photography cost?

The session fee is $150. In order to secure your shoot, a session fee is required at the time of booking. The session fee covers:  photography session, travel time, maternity gowns, all props and outfits for newborns, in-person viewing session, secure image backup for 2 years, photographer’s time and talent. It does not include any products or digital files.

Do you offer any discounts?

I do offer a loyalty discount and referral discount.

Also, I have a special offer for my mums to be! You get 10% off any digital collection for the Newborn session if you book it after your Maternity shoot with me.

Please ask for details.

How long does the photo session last?

My Family and Maternity sessions typically last about 1,5- 2 hours. In studio Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 3-4 hours. Lifestyle newborn sessions take between 1,5-2hours. Cake Smashes and Millstone sessions (3-4 or 6-8 month) lust up to 1 hour.

What happens if we are late for the session?

Please plan your trip to the location/studio carefully. If you are late, please know that it will shorten your session time accordingly. You can pay for the extra time if the lighting conditions are still good for photography and I am available for the extra time of the shooting. The extra time fee is $50 per 30 minutes.

When is the best time to take outdoor portraits?

The outdoor photography sessions are held on location using natural available light. The best time is "golden hours" in the evening (about 2 hours before sunset) when the light is soft and beautiful.

What if it's raining?

Due to the bad weather conditions we'll reschedule our photo shoot.

Do you provide the maternity gowns?

To make it easier for you I have some maternity dresses in different colors to choose from.  They are feet most sizes. No extra fee for the dress.

Do you provide the newborn props?

I provide all props for your newborn baby but you are welcome to bring along something special if you want to include these in your images.

What is the difference between Lifestyle newborn session and Posed newborn session?

The posed newborn session is for babies in their first 3 weeks of life. The ideal window for a newborn photo session would be when your baby is between 5–10 days old, as they are still very sleepy and have the ability to curl, which is what makes the newborn portraits so beautiful and unique. The posed newborn session is a good choice when you want me to focus on your little one and like posed and prop setups. Also, I do some mum and dad shots. If you have other kids, they can be included in the newborn session thus you'll have nice family pictures as well. It can last anywhere up to 4 hours. The Posed newborn sessions are held in my studio in Stanhope Gardens only.

The Lifestyle session is much more flexible (up to 8 weeks).  Lifestyle newborn session is more about your bond with baby and your love. It is unposed session without any props and is done in the comfort of your own home using natural available light.

Sessions take between 1,5-3hours depending on how the baby feels on the day.

So it suits you if:

  • you’ve missed a 4 weeks period for the Posed session
  • you like candid portraits with all family members involved,
  • you are not able to travel and want photography session to be done at your home.

How to prepare for the newborn session?

I’ll provide the preparation guide after your booking. After that, you’ll be ready for your successful newborn photo session.

Can I see a full session examples?

Yes! You can look through a few full galleries on my BLOG. Please click on the category of photography you’re interested in.

Do you offer photography gift vouchers?

I certainly do.  A photo session makes a perfect gift for any occasion!

I offer Gift Vouchers for the following:

Newborn photography,

Family and portrait photography,

Event photography.

All gift certificates are valid for 6 months since the date of purchase.

When and how should I book my session?

It’s never too early to book! Book your session in advance to make sure you can choose a convenient date and time.

If you are expecting, I highly recommend to book your Maternity and Newborn session as early as possible. The best time for a maternity photo shoot is the late second or early third trimester (28-35 weeks of pregnancy) and Posed newborn sessions are best done during first 3 weeks (up to 8 weeks for Lifestyle newborn session).

A $150 session fee is required at the time of booking.  After the booking fee is paid I lock your date in my calendar.

For the newborn babies, the actual session date is confirmed after your baby arrives.

What happens after our session?

Your images will be ready for your viewing session within 1 week of the shoot. From there, we can arrange an in-person viewing appointment. You will be able to choose photos and products you’d like to purchase.

How long before we can see our photos?

Your images will be ready for your viewing session within 2 weeks of the shoot.

How long does it take to edit the images?

Digital processing takes approximately 3 weeks after the final payment.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, etc. Sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus or good expression. I don’t expect you to spend the time to zoom into each image to select the best photos, so I spend time doing that before the viewing session.

Do you retouch the images?

Yes! The photos you are purchasing are professionally edited and retouched.

Do you offer digitals?

Yes! I have digital collections delivered in both high-resolution watermark free and web size.

Do you offer prints and albums?

Yes, sure! I strongly believe in the value of print products. I offer professional photo lab quality products in a variety of sizes. It’s just amazing to have images printed and placed on your walls. That feeling of holding the high-quality album with beautiful images showcasing the happy moments of your life instead of seeing them on a screen is such a special thing. It’s the best outcome for your session!

What if I lose my images?

There is a $75 replacement fee for an additional USB. I highly recommend to make at least one copy of your digital collection when you receive it from me.

I want to book, what’s next?

Just let me know about the kind of photo session you are after and preferable days.  I will then send you the information I need for the contract and payment details for the $150 session fee to confirm your booking.
